Shaw House is an important Elizabethan manor house now used by West Berkshire County Council as a venue for conferences, weddings and other public events.
The history of the house is described in a permanent exhibition, which opened in 2009. Bespoke fitments and showcases house a range of exhibits supported by wall-hung graphic panels. The fitments are freestanding to avoid any permanent fixings into the historic fabric.
Graphics provide interpretation for other principal rooms with mobile units containing interactive games for children.
