Eastbury Manor is a 16th century mansion in Barking, East London, now used as an arts and community resource. In tandem with a major restoration program we designed a permanent exhibition for the attic rooms and interpretation for the other principal spaces, involving schematic designs for grant-aid funding and Stage 3 drawings for tender.
The historic interior ruled out any permanent fixings. This constraint, coupled with the multi-purpose function of the principal rooms, led us to develop a range of oak display units with simple styling to echo Elizabethan furniture.
